This product is amazing and does exactly what it says on the tin. Since having a stair-lift fitted, our property has suffered drop-outs on the ADSL line for several minutes each time the stair-lift is used. This is due to REIN interference from the electric motor in the lift causing noise on the ADSL line. My plan B was to re-route all the telephone wiring in the house to avoid noise interference from the stair-lift as much as possible, but first I thought I'd try one of these devices. I was sceptical, but this made a significant improvement to the stability if the ADSL connection. Since installing there have been zero drop-outs and the connection remains stable whilst the stair-lift is in use, the router seems to also report an increase in SNR. So very happy with my purchase. These little devices don't seem to be publicised much, but I suspect there are many people who would benefit from these, especially if they are suffering REIN noise in their property. My line is standard ADSL2+ (copper broadband), but I guess these could offer improvements for fibre (FTTC) lines also.

I bought this item to try and resolve my internet issues. I couldn't be more impressed, our internet had been dropping out and the BT chaps couldn't resolve the issue even after visiting 7 times. This little dongle thing has sorted the issue all at once!

I would like to start by saying that my VDSL2 connection was not problematic; it usually went on for weeks without resyncing, I had no noticeable issues with the connection and there was no interleaving. That said my line to the cabinet is not the best; before fitting this device sync speeds were around 50,300 kbps downstream and 8,200 kbps upstream. Not much any home customer can do about that, I tested it from the point the twisted pair leaves the property and the sync speeds were pretty much the same so I know there are no internal wiring issues. Still, I was curious to see if this device could offer any improvement. After fitting it my downstream sync speeds went up to around 53,800 kbps, although it did not seem to change the upstream. So in conclusion this device definitely isn't snake oil, for me it offered a 7% increase in downstream speeds on a line that was not problematic in the first place.

We shipped out one of these broadband stabilisers to a customer whose ADSL service had intermittently become very unstable, all of a sudden. The customer lived relatively close to a small airfield, and also a rather large solar farm, so we suspected that there was some new equipment placed in one of these locations that was causing interference with the broadband service. Since they plugged the device in they have said that their service has improved, and have closed the complaint down with us. Thanks for helping bring an end to this long-running saga!
