New Product Release: Hikvision 8MP 4K ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit – Now with Built-In Microphones & Smart Hybrid Light
We’re excited to announce the arrival of a brand-new CCTV kit that brings together ultra-clear 4K recording, full-colour night surveillance, and smarter security features designed for modern homes and businesses. The new Hikvision 8MP 4K ColorVu CCTV Kit with PoC, featuring built-in microphones and Smart Hybrid Light technology, is now available and ready to transform the way you protect your property.
This latest release is built for anyone who wants reliable, high-definition monitoring without the complexity of a traditional multi-cable installation. With Power over Coax (PoC), the system keeps setup clean and simple by transmitting power and video through a single coaxial cable per camera. It’s a perfect solution for both new installations and upgrades where coax cabling may already be in place.
4K Ultra HD Clarity That Makes a Real Difference
Video quality is the backbone of any CCTV system, and this kit delivers with impressive 8MP 4K resolution. Every camera captures sharp, detailed footage that makes it easier to identify faces, vehicle details, and key activity around your property. Whether you’re securing an entrance, driveway, office, or retail space, 4K recording provides the clarity needed for confident monitoring and reliable evidence.
Full-Colour Surveillance Day and Night with ColorVu
Unlike standard night vision cameras that switch to black-and-white after dark, Hikvision’s ColorVu technology is designed to maintain full-colour imaging 24/7. That extra colour detail can be crucial, especially when reviewing footage and identifying clothing colours, vehicles, or other features that may not stand out in infrared-only recordings. This kit is a major upgrade for anyone who wants clearer and more informative night-time footage.
NEW Built-In Microphones for Audio Recording
One of the biggest highlights of this new release is the inclusion of cameras with built-in microphones. This is a feature many customers have been asking for, and it adds an extra layer of awareness that video alone can’t provide. Audio recording can help capture conversations, unusual sounds, or other important context during incidents—making it even more useful for security and evidence.
Smart Hybrid Light: IR When Quiet, Full Colour When It Counts
This kit also introduces Smart Hybrid Light technology, delivering smarter night-time coverage without constant bright lighting. The system can operate using infrared (IR) for discreet monitoring in darkness, and when a human or vehicle is detected, it can automatically switch to white light illumination to provide full-colour video. This intelligent switching not only improves the quality of captured footage, but can also act as a visual deterrent when unexpected movement is detected.
Powered by the Hikvision iDS-7204HUHI-M1/PXT DVR
At the heart of the system is the Hikvision iDS-7204HUHI-M1/PXT 4-channel PoC DVR, designed to deliver stable recording performance alongside smart features and easy system control. The DVR supports efficient recording using H.265+ compression, helping reduce storage usage while keeping video quality high. This means longer recording times and better use of hard drive space without compromising image detail.
Remote viewing is also smooth and convenient through the Hik-Connect app, allowing you to check live footage or playback recordings from your smartphone, tablet, or PC—anytime, anywhere.
A Complete Security Upgrade for Homes and Businesses
This new kit is an ideal choice for customers looking for a high-quality, professional CCTV setup with advanced features that genuinely improve everyday security. From the clarity of 4K recording to the powerful advantage of full-colour night vision, built-in audio, and smart lighting response, it’s a complete package designed for modern protection.
