With the advent of super fast broadband and home working, the reliance on our wifi networks are increasing substantially.

With almost every smart device now requiring a solid network connection, the requirement for a high speed wireless network is now more important than ever. We can offer our wi-fi installation service to homes and businesses across the Bristol and Bath areas. 

There are many options for creating a wifi network within a house or office environment. 

The first option, which many go with, is the whole home disc solution. Whilst these are good and can create a reliable network within your setup, the costs involved are usually ongoing. Whereas with our solutions you pay for the kit and it's yours there are no monthly costs involved, you own the kit outright. What's more is some internet service providers only provide the hardware for their own service, so when you want to change provider the kit no longer works.

The other issues involved is when you use mesh discs is that generally you have to setup two different networks, meaning you have to jump from one network to another. Not great if you're on a zoom call and you suddenly have to move about the premises. Or if you're a business taking a card transaction that connection can be interrupted.

Another option is of course repeaters.

Whilst repeaters are again great option for many, they are often bulky and take up an extra plug socket and you would probably need them where typically a plug socket isn't located.

In our experience the best solution is to install a mix of access points and data cabling. The advantages of this option is you're always going have network access where it is needed. Whether you're a small home office, a restaurant or hotel needing a guest wifi network. We supply and install wifi access points that are powered by what we call POE switches. This is a network switch that can send small power (normally 48v) over ethernet cabling. There's no need for extra power outlets, you own the kit outright and most importantly no extra monthly payments!
